Daffodils for Easter

Not a prayer of putting my sun chair out today - back to the fleecy jumpers and the heating is on x Hope you are all enjoying the weekend., had a fairly busy day so tomorrow is playtime - yippee.
On with todays card

I spent hours looking for this stamp set a few weeks ago and could not find it anywhere then whilst sorting some drawers last week there it was - in my christmas drawer, don't remember putting it in there lol.

I had a real good play last night with this one and just did not know where it was going when l started - over the last couple of days l have seen some gorgeous cameo embellishments so this inspired me to get out the shrink plastic and scalloped oval nestie to make this embellishment which l coloured with tombows and sekura pens (not used these for years) l put some stickles around the edge, l cut a piece of vellum to just lift the backing a bit. I have used a script embossing folder then distressed in bundled sage. The main image is coloured with copics and prisma pencils and a touch of stickles. Used a Pearl pen on butterfly and swirl.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Totally Papercrafts 110 - Easter
Allsorts 148 - Photo Inspiration (yellows/greens and easter theme)
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes (3rd)

Nothing today

Except a BIG THANK YOU for all the lovely comment l have received recently.  I have had a very busy weekend with HW, spent all this morning ironing until all up to date and then 4 hours this afternoon digging in the allotment.  It was the first time l had been around this year and with all the strong winds over the winter did not know what to expect, was very pleased to see my shed upright and in its place (had visions of it being in the field next door. None of my trees had blown down, it was perfect digging weather with a good breeze, the sun shining and the ground just right. I think it will take a good week to get it all dug over and the strawberry bed weeded and tidied up but will be worth it.
Hope to have a card to share with you tomorrow x Susan x
